Designed with safety in mind, this loft bed has 2 cross bars on 3 sides to add extra strength and stability. The space-saving straight ladder has wide, grooved steps to make it easy to climb up and has anti-entrapment blocks between the ladder and the cross bars for increased safety. We do not recommend this bed for kids under the age of 12, and we suggest using the included anti-tip kit to attach the loft bed to the wall for increased safety and stability. This loft bed is assembled upside down and then flipped, so ceiling height must be greater than 9 feet high for assembly. Perfect for older kids and teenagers, this loft bed can easily transition with your child from grade school to college.
